My very own cookbook is the one I use the most. I am so grateful so many other moms have bought it and love the recipes as much as my family does. But even if it wasn’t a source of revenue for me and my family, I would be happy that I wrote a cookbook that makes my life easier. Instead of having a massive, disorganized pile of notes, I have a nice book to flip through and find what I need. Penelope flips through it and points out whatever recipe she wants for dinner. I hope it will be a family heirloom for her one day, and that one day, her daughter is flipping through it requesting her dinner and dessert choice.
The print book is $10 off and is only $20! And remember this print edition is ALL THREE of my cookbooks together. It’s a beauty! My eCookbook bundle is another 20% off the regular 30% off, so you can get all three eCookbooks for just $20!
And if you’re in the market for some other grain-free/gluten-free/real food cookbooks, I thought I would share some of my favorite cookbooks that I have bought within the last year and I am throughly enjoying.
I am giving away a copy of each one, so read on to find out how to enter!
In no particular order…
The Nourished Kitchen: Farm-to-Table Recipes for the Traditional Foods Lifestyle Featuring Bone Broths, Fermented Vegetables, Grass-Fed Meats, Wholesome Fats, Raw Dairy, and Kombuchas by Jennifer McGruther of Nourished Kitchen.
Jenny is a cookbook author and food blogger who I look up to so much. She puts so much energy and detail into her posts and recipes. Plus, the woman can cook. She’s a real gourmet chef and knows her stuff.
Against All Grain: Delectable Paleo Recipes to Eat Well & Feel Great by Danielle Walker of Against All Grain.
Love, love, love this book! It is so allergy friendly. Eating grain-free and gluten-free is hard enough, but throw out dairy and life can get hard. Danielle’s cookbook has so many wonderful recipes that are so tasty, it’s only when I am eating out do I feel that twinge of jealousy of what other people are eating, because at home with her recipes, there is no feeling of missing out. Her new cookbook is coming soon too!
This is not really a cookbook, but I love to flip through it and get inspiration when I am coming up with new recipes. It’s so helpful to have some of the work done already, figuring out what flavors go well together, because it cuts down on the experimentation phase. This book helps you tap into the joy and artistic expression of cooking, making a recipe truly your own.
The 21-Day Sugar Detox: Bust Sugar & Carb Cravings Naturally by Diane Sanfilippo of Balanced Bites.
Sugar is my personal food devil. I have come so far with my diet and eating habits but sugar is still SO hard for me. When I feel myself veering off the tracks and going a little koo-koo and craving sugar too much, I like to reset my body with a sugar cleanse. You will learn so much about yourself and your body by doing a cleanse like this. Her recipes are delicious, making it easy to start incorporating them into your every day life more and more.
This girl is a powerhouse. The professionalism and perfectionism she brings to her blog and cookbook are awe-inspiring. This is one of the most quality cookbooks I have ever read. And it has so many pictures of every step along the way.
The Paleo Slow Cooker: Healthy, Gluten-free Meals the Easy Way by Arsy Vartanian of Rubies and Radishes.
Arsy is one of the sweetest bloggers I know and I love turning to her cookbook when I am bored with my own slow cooker freezer recipes and want to try something different in my slow cooker. She actually has another cookbook out that I have been wanting to get called The Paleo Foodie Cookbook: 120 Food Lover’s Recipes for Healthy, Gluten-Free, Grain-Free and Delicious Meals.
And my friend Lisa Leake from 100 Days of Real Food has her first cookbook called 100 Days of Real Food: How We Did It, What We Learned, and 100 Easy, Wholesome Recipes Your Family Will Love coming out any day now. Her recipes are not for folks with allergies, but her recipes are perfect for real food newbies.
I hope you find these cookbooks as helpful as they have been for me. Remember, take baby steps to not get overwhelmed. Just make one small dietary change, master it, and then add in something else to take it to the next level.
