2012 was quite the year for me.  The beginning was incredibly difficult – I had a miscarriage at the end of my first trimester. But it also brought so many beautiful things, which is usually how it goes. There can be no birth, renewal, or beginnings without something dying or being destroyed.  The Destroyer Archetype has been active in my life before, and boy, it was really busy the end of 2011 and early 2o12 for me.

But oh, then I got to reap the benefits of constantly putting myself out there, my hard work and bravery for walking through the pain and the fear.  2012 ended up being an amazing, life changing year for my whole family.  And I can’t wait to see what 2013 has in store for me.

On that note, I would love your help to aid me in better understanding how I can serve you better.  I made this very short survey with Survey Monkey.  It is completely anonymous, so I won’t have any clue who is saying what. Now even though I am super sensitive and don’t handle criticism well, I still want to hear what you have to say – but it’s OK if you want to be nice about it!  It will help me make Mama and Baby Love the best it can be.  Click here to take the survey, it is only 5 questions!

Stephanie, I enjoyed reading your resolutions but I really liked reading about how you had eye to eye contact while changing Penelope’s diapers and are losing that. I had not remembered that moment being something so special and I thank you for reminding me, for it truly was that for me as well. I will use that as part of my teachings. LOVE

    • Aw, my pleasure! I am so grateful to have been a nanny and potty trained two other girls before Penelope and picked up on how much of diaper changing is bonding time.

  2. I love this printable! I love the categories. Very helpful and smart idea.

  3. I have learned so much from reading your blog!! You have really inspired me to eat real food and and really take care of my body. I have also began researching some of the topics on motherhood and childbearing that you’ve discussed on here. Even though I’m not having children any time soon, I want to be as prepared as I possibly can be to give them the best start in life possible. Keep doing what you’re doing, I look forward to seeing all the new things to come for you and your family this year!
    Much love!!!!

    • You are so sweet Morgan. And I literally thank God, that you are one of Penelope’s preschool teachers this year. It is so nice to have people around Penelope who get where I am coming from. And I so happy to hear that you are going to start preparing your body now. I wish I had cared more about nutrition earlier on, Penelope’s digestion and immune system is not what it could have been had I eaten better and had a better digestion. Defiently read that GAPS book when you get a chance.
