Did you know that traditional fats like butter, lard, coconut oil, cream and egg yolks help prevent wrinkles?  Salma Hayek, one of my all time favorite actresses because of the time she went on a trip a couple years back and breastfed a baby that was not her own, has never had botox and her forehead is flawless!  I already have wrinkles because of a poor diet growing up and in my early twenties, combined with being a Florida girl born and raised, but hopefully my current fat intake will help me prevent any further wrinkles.

Have you been hearing some hoopla in the news that going organic is not actually better for you?  Check out these rebuttals here:

This is something that has been on my mind lately.  I have long been a huge believer in the law of attraction and how powerful your thoughts are at manifesting how your life turns out, but when I heard it explained like this, I thought it was just a perfect way to explain it:

We are still on our trip to Colorado and having a great time!  In honor of International Babywearing Week, I thought I would show these two pictures of us wearing Penelope (35 pounds, mind you!) while on a hike in Telluride, CO.

  1. Love your law of attraction quote! I’m a huge believer in all those things too, and I have vision board all around my house. “What you think about you bring about,” is one of my favorites. Have fun in CO! ( ;

  2. How old is your daughter? Mine is 2 and a half….but I not sure if she would go with us wearing her. Any secrets?

    • She will be three in a few short weeks. When we hike in Florida she is fine, but the first couple of days in Colorado she did not want to be on our back she wanted to touch all the rocks and new surroundings, but as soon as the newness wore off she was fine being on my back again. I would just say start slow and be consistent. It is very rare for a kid not to like to be worn.
