Other new things news, did you notice the little blog revamp? I love my yellow chevron stripes, but I wanted to make the blog a little cleaner and easier to read. Let me know what you think. This blog is like an old fixer-upper house (or like me, for that matter!), always a work in progress.

Dance class started back after the summer break. Penelope could not be more excited. She is really, really into dance. I wonder if she will continue to be so excited about dance. In Jupiter/West Palm Beach area where we are moving, there is a fantastic dance magnent high school that is one of the best art magnet schools in the country, maybe she will go there one day!
The outfit I wore this week for my cooking segment on WCTV. I made my chocolate covered almonds recipe.
We took Penelope the planetarium at our local science museum last weekend and the weirdest thing happened. She asked to nurse and immediately fell asleep! I think she must have been fighting a back to school virus. So she slept through the whole show, so we walked to a bar next door and had a glass of wine and waited for her to wake up. It was so nice! I never got to do anything like that when she was a baby, because I always had to be at home, pumping my life away, so it was really sweet to get a tiny experience of what life would have been like if our baby days would have been easier and we could have gone out and done things while she was napping.
I bought Penelope and I some more matching clothes. At this point we both need new clothes like a hole in the head, so this has got to be my last clothing purchase for the year. But I could not resist these Jcrew pants. They are still on sale and now extra 30% off, if you want for yourself and your little one!
