My dear friend and fellow MBL writer, Mrs. L as she likes to be called here, also known as Simply Inspired Mama, took some pictures of me the other weekend. She is a budding photographer and wanted some practice. It’s been almost a year since I last took pictures for the blog and I needed some new ones, so it was a win-win for us both.
I am playing around with which pictures to use for the blog header, welcome area, about me page, facebook header, and for the author bio picture on my updated eCookbook and print edition that is coming out this Fall! So help me pick which ones you like best. At the very end, you can get a sneak peak of the handmade aprons I will be selling on Facebook, very soon!

I love the one in your black dress-the full body shot, the last one of you in the apron, and the first one w/ the apples, tho that one is a bit out of focus for a book photo, imo. I really love the second photo, too…it’s probably my favorite one-the colors/depth to field/subject placement… Your hair looks amazing in every one! Also like the one of you sitting w/ your chambray shirt and red pants-it just looks candid and natural. Cute photos! Great job to the both of you.

These are all great! You look so pretty! I love the ones in the dress and the denim top! Where did you get the denim top?
I got that top at Old Navy earlier this year. Gap, Target and Jcrew all have cute ones out right now.
So going in the order they are up top (starting at the top working down) I like the first two, #4 and the first full length black dress (#17 I think). Great job Simply Inspired Mama.

I like #1 for the main blog header. And #4 for about me page. Anything with your barefeet! The black dress/ boots picture is just awesome, but you look like a J. Crew model! I think the first few pictures best represent what this blog is about.
