Whiten Teeth Naturally

Months ago, I saw this post that Wellness Mama did and thought, jackpot!  I am so gonna try that!  When I was in high school and college I would whiten my teeth with chemicals and I had no idea what I was doing or how bad it was for me.  Even as I got older and learned better, I still lusted for whiter teeth and wished I knew of a better option.  So I was super excited to find out about activated charcoal as a way to whiten your teeth!

You can buy activated charcoal on Amazon and get started right away!

Check out my video below and see how easy it is to whiten your teeth without harsh chemicals.  And see how ridiculous I look while doing it.

Here’s to whiter teeth the natural way!

  1. That pictures reminds me all the fake gum you give your ‘friends’ & it turns their mouth all black and nasty, but I’m super excited to try this out!

I bought the charcoal off of Amazon after reading Wellness Mama’s post. I have been hesitant to try this and afraid I would ruin my sink. Thanks for this post!

  3. Christine says:

How often do you do this/is it recommended? Also, what’s the taste like?

  4. Hi Stephanie–You mentioned you use the charcoal about once a week. How long before I would actually see a difference in the colour of my teeth?

  5. Is it safe to use while breastfeeding?

  6. Melissa says:

Wow that’s fantastic! Am desperately trying to find some over here in NZ that isn’t in capsule form. I am now understanding my Grandmother’s stories about brushing teeth with charcoal from the fireplace in the 1930′s, pre toothpaste. How funny :)
